around 40k. Depends on plugs though. DO NOT GET E3's.Bosch Platinum's are trash too. Buy Motorcrafts or NGK's. They should also come pre-gapped. I would recommend doing your wires too at the same time.

I would do them around 60k-70k. Thats when I did mine. They are pretty hard to change if you dont have a lift.

Thats why I say wait to 60-70k.

Lord of war has a point lol. I don't know how hard it is to change plugs on a 3.0 but on a 4.0 its easy on the drivers and hard on the passenger side. With headers its damn near impossible. Even with a lift....

They are rated for 100 but that seems too long. 60 is good.

^^ ditto what he said....i used the bosch platinums because the guy who sold me the truck left them in the console....when the weather got cold....(50's) i started getting misfire codes... threw in some Motorcrafts and it cleared up

i'd say the 60k mark would be fine to change them

I changed mine at 40K and found half of them severly worn. HUGE gaps.

40-60k sounds like a good deal to me.

When I changed my OEM plugs at 85K they were done. The electrodes were very unevenly worn and the platinum was gone. My truck has used a lot of E85 though, which is hard on plugs.

I used Motorcraft plugs from the parts store. The ones I got were not pregapped for a Ranger. They were at around .054 out of the box, so I regapped them to .044.

Did mine at like 60ish-k

Autolite Double Plats and Underdog wires. Wasn't that hard, just a little time consuming to route the wires. You don't need a lift, I had one but didn't use it.

I did mine at 60k and the gap was terrible. I used the Underdog wires and Motorcraft Plats and it ran great. Prepare for some bruised knuckles though

I have the screamin Deamon coil pack. I think it was worth it. My plugs are gapped to .065 and I know I get consitant spark.

Rich(wydopnthrt) has. He likes them over the NGK Iridium plugs. I was going to a set of the Densos but I'm selling so no need for them.
