I don't have a 3.0L I have a 1990 Ranger with a 2.9L V6 engine and I need some help with it. The engine will crank over but the truck will not start. I think it's the distributer but I am unsure. Can anyone tell me anything about it?

 

i have a 2.9... what exactly are you wanting to know?

 

check your fuel cut-off inertia switch to see if it's been tripped. on the left side of your transmission hump kinda on the fire wall.

 

Ok. I'll check that.

 

Also, if you need parts, I've got a 2.9 I'm getting rid of/part out.
