Jusnes underdrive pully's

I was looking at the underdrive pully kit from jusnes and i was wondering if anyone has put them on there 3.0 and if you can tell a diffrence because all i have done is mod's for the look's of my truck and i would like to do some engine Mod's.

Thanx in advance.

the pulley we sell is made by ASP, one of the pioneers in the pulley field, the 3.0 actually responds very well to an underdrive pulley, and for its relatively low price, its a pretty good mod!

Unless you need a lot of alternator amps at idle. I'm taking mine off and selling it. Even with a 1.875" alternator pulley, I have too little with the winch and e-fan.

With the stock pulley and the small alternator pulley, I should be good.

It does make a difference though. Not looking forward to going back, but I need to to meet my electrical needs. I bought a 200 amp large case 3G alternator, but even they need a bit more revs at idle to really put out.

right, if you use it with an e-fan or other aftermarket electronics, we recommend a bumped idle to make up for the lost amperage.

Ha ha! For which you need a custom tune...yes, yes, the cash flow (out) never ends, lol...

Good for business though!

if you dont have a tuner, GET ONE, haha. that should be anyones first mod IMO, it will compensate for any other mods you may do, and changing the idle would require hitting a few buttons, heh.

but youre right john, for every mod there is always some consequence. you just have to decide if the trade off is worth it. on my F150 i did the ASP pulleys and bumped my "drive idle" to 850 rpm, and never have any problems at all.

I'll get a tuner one day, Bob -- probably from you. Just too cheap for it right now, lol.

sound's good i dont have any major electrical upgrade's so i should be fine. i do plan on getting the E-Fan from your site because i did a E-Fan on my 85 ranger 2.5 and MAN did it make a diffrence! But that wont happen for a few more month's.
