Left side exhaust header bolts
Hello, I have own a 2000 ford ranger xlt, 3.0 v6, I have finally got all the parts needed for a top end rebuild, I have a majority of everything put together so far, but I am stuck on the left exhaust header, as I pull them out of my labeled baggie I have realized I do not know the pattern of which bolt go where as most of the bolts look different, I was wondering if someone could hook me up with what bolts go where, also something unrelated my dash lights are not working and I have replaced every fuse, is it the bulbs most likely?
When it comes to the bolts for the exhaust manifold, you most likely have different lengths and some may have a stud with a nut. Long bolts go in the tall parts of the manifold of course. The ones with stud ends may have or not, actually held a bracket or something. As far as dash lights, make sure your dimmer switch is up high enough to illuminate them. If it is, it or the actual light switch may be the problem. Diagnosing it would be easy with a test light or voltmeter.
