Could it be the air temperature, or the rubber hose to the pvc?
Where you having this idle problem before you replaced the PCV valve?

It could be the vacuum line off the PCV.

One other way to check for vacuum leaks is to use a small propane cylinder with a wheel valve and a small rubber hose (about 4-5 ft long) connected to the valve. Put the hose in the intake and slowly open the valve just a little for about 5 seconds. You should notice that the RPM either picks up or drops slightly. Once know know which way it will go pull the hose out of the intake. Now place the hose next to suspected areas that may be leaking and open the valve for a few seconds and note what the RPM does. If no change move on to the next area. I've found this and or some of the Good Old Flammable Carb cleaners work best to locate vacuum leaks. However, unlike Carb Cleaner, propane does not leave puddles of flammable liquids behind just waiting for a leaky spark plug wire to set it on fire and burn you vehicle to the ground.

Note: Do this in a well ventilated area and don't let the hose get tangled into the fan blades or pulleys

Ya i was gunna check that tomoro. Spray some starting fluid around throttle body and the butterfly to see if mayb the seals wore out or the special coating on butterfly was removed. I remember lookin at the pvc hose i didnt notice cracks but i did notice how hard it was. Not flexibe anymore. Im lil nervouse bout using propane but i have a blue propane torch i could use n jus not spark it n use the gas in same way u describe.
on a side note. The egr. If u put the two hoses the go from egr tube to egr pressure sensor backwards would that break it?

If your talking about using a spray can containing ether, it may not be the best choice. Aerosol cans are designed to discharge a large volume at relatively high pressure making it hard to pin point any leaks.

Definitely worth revisiting for a second look.

This is the setup you need.

If your referencing the vacuum lines I wouldn't think so.

Just for fun, I'd recommend going back to the TPS. Try this. With a warmed up engine, slightly loosen the mounting bolts for the TPS just enough that you can force it to move. Start the engine and let it idle for a minute. Grab the TPS and try to rotate it first in one direction and see what happens to the idle. If no change try the other direction. If the idle comes down, hold the TPS in that position and tighten the mounting bolts.

The tps is actually new but ill give it a try. I beleove it only goes on one way. Like wen i put it on u couldnt rlly adjust or move it becaise the two bolts that hold it in.
That almos same tank i have only its got a metal end comes out for the flame. I cam attach a hose to it prob work the same way.
.hoping to get at the pcv hose withoit taking off the intake again
