No, it looks like a 3.0l DOHC engine

You need a 3.0l OHV, called a Vulcan engine, VIN U or V

1991 thru 2008 they were used in Rangers or Mazda B3000
Taurus or Sables also used the 3.0l Vulcan but you need to change the head gasket to use them in a Ranger

Try this site: https://www.car-part.com/

1994
Ford Ranger
engine
Canada
skip area
Your Postal code
Search

New window will open
Select 3.0l engine
Search

Also try same search but 1996, 1999, 2005 up to 2008

They just look for exact swaps, if you can swap your upper and lower intake over then any 1991 to 2008 3.0l OHV will work, and the later the year the lower the miles "usually", lol

I did pass up on it, guy was a d*ckhead, so far only one I’ve found that’s priced decent (550$) is in Nova Scotia and I would have to pay shipping which I have no idea how much that’d be

I just checked car-part.com
2007
Ford Ranger
Engine
Canada

Your Postal code
search

3.0l
search

Got a few available on "the island"
And a few more in lower mainland

Avoid 2004-2006 3.0ls, they could have valve issues

For a USED 3.0l..........I agree that's ridicules, $1,000 maybe if you can hear it running or they guarantee it for 6 months

What's wrong with yours?
