94 Emissions delete?

Has anyone removed anything emission related from their 94 4.0 ranger. I just removed my charcoal canister because it had a huge hole melted into it and it doesnt quite run the same. I was just wondering if i need to re-route some emission hoses differently. I really dont want to have to go buy a new charcoal can.
