New exhaust for my Ranger.....Forgot, new member too..
Hi everyone, new member here. Glad to be here. A wealth of info I've found already. Anyhow, I just picked up my 2000 Ranger XL 3.0 4x4 from the exhaust shop this afternoon. Custom bent cat back with a stainless Flowmaster 40 DeltaFlow SI/DO. Aluminized pipe 2 1/2 in, 2 1/4 out duals. So far, sounds great, nice mellow "throaty" tone. If you are in western NC, I would highly suggest Steve's Specialty Exhaust. I've dealt with him several times, and have always been pleased with his work. Top notch is a better way to put it. Very clean install. I'm happy:) Now, to get the AVM hubs purchased and installed. Next thing on my list, along with door pins and bushings for my drivers side door. Take care.
Thanks GreyGoose.......
Thanks GreyGoose for the welcome! I haven't had a chance to take any pics yet, but will try to in the next few days. I don't have a clue how to post them, so I will probably need some help with that. No sound clips yet either, but will try that too.
Welcome Howard. I think burnsville is close to where I go to school. If I remember correctly isn't burnsville the town where Mt. Mitchell is located? Anyway I go to school at Montreat College 20 minutes east of Asheville. Lets see some pics!
Yes, Jared, Burnsville is the home of Mt. Mitchell. It's a great place to live, that is, if you like peace and quiet. I guess I'm getting old, but there's not much I can do about it:). I'll get pics after I get off of these 12 hour shifts later on this week. Take care, and good luck at Montreat! I hear it's a great college.
Ya I love going up to Mt. Mitchell. Me and a few guys actually backpack from the school up the top of Mt. Mitchell about 2-3 times a year it's a good 14 mile hike and man does it get interesting up there in the winter. A western NC meet sounds like a good idea, my brother goes to college with me and hes got a ranger too, I'm sure we could have a good turnout
