PO325

I have an '02 Ranger 3.0. Has rough idle and keeps throwing PO325. I've seen some articles saying it does not have a knock sensor. If not, what would cause the code? I've tried new plugs and wires and mass air flow reads good on my handheld scanner. Any help is appreciated.

Welcome to the forum

It shouldn't have one but can, if not then computer is bad, so hopefully it has one, lol

It will be on passenger side of engine block, near/above the motor mount and below exhaust manifold

looks like this: https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/..._AC_SS450_.jpg
Just has a bolt thru the hole holding it to the block

Could just be unplugged
P0325 Knock Sensor 1 Circuit Malfunction

If sensor was bad it would be more likely to set one of these codes
P0326 Knock Sensor 1 Circuit Range/Performance
P0327 Knock Sensor 1 Circuit Low Input
P0328 Knock Sensor 1 Circuit High Input
P0329 Knock Sensor 1 Circuit Intermittent
