Power Pullies

Power Pullies

Ive been thinking about getting power pullies for my 3.0

the problem is they run $200 and i dont really know if they are worth it??

and then i think should i get the xcaliber chip....which runs $400

any information and inputs on the subject would be greatly appreceated.

well the only "real" pulley that will get you power is the under drive crank pulley. Now the other ones are lighter and everything so they might get you like 1hp or something like. Now the tuner is a great thing to have and it works even better when you have other mods to go along withit.

I think the crank pulley should be the first mod anyone does. You can feel it and it helps MPGs.

yeah the crank pulley is the one you want but I'd suggest getting all pulleys as they look great help the whole system.

what is the size belt i need if i bought just the crank and the alternater pully?

i think its 1" smaller than stock. i talked to him a little while back about this and i think thats what he said

4060865 with Underdog Crank Pulley and Underdog Alternator Pulley

without a/c equipped Ranger:
so you need an 86.5" belt

I just installed a full set- crank, water pump, alt, idler, tensioner. A new how-to will be posted soon. it should help whether installing 1 or 5 of the pulleys.
