i blew my lower hose this am headed into work, walked to an auto part store and got the part, installed it ( what a beach of a job in a rush) and where it leaves the bottom of the block and to the bottom of the radiator there is a slight kink, like half of the circulation is pinched, not the whole hose, is that an issue or can it be left alone and after a while the hose will contour to the bend?

 

There should be no kinks and it will not get better over time.

it sounds like you got the wrong hose.
