Welcome to the forum
1992 is right around when Ford changed the Quick connect fitting on the Masters hose and the slave.
How did this connection go together for you?
You may have the older Master and newer slave or visa versa
1992/1993 were the transition years I believe
Clutch pedal being stuck up means fluid can't flow out to the slave thru that Quick connect fitting, a common symptom if it "pops off"
There is a valve inside the Master's fitting(at slave end of the hose) that prevents fluid from draining out the hose when disconnected
When you push the Masters hose onto the slave fitting it pushes open that valve
Your valve is closed so pedal can't be pushed down
And just a heads up, when you remove the shifter on a manual transmission make sure it is in NEUTRAL!!! FIRST
Then when reinstalling the shifter the transmission will not be STUCK IN GEAR
If this happens, you need to remove the shifter and then use a screwdriver to slide one of the shift rails to line up with the other 2 in the center, 3 in the center = Neutral
Then you can reinstall the shifter
