Icon9 Rough idle then stall. P0171 code.

Used car dealer where I bought the truck from performed a MAF sensor cleaning then I started getting rough idle and the engine then stalls. I have to crank it in full throttle for it to start again. Or pull over and wait a while then I can crank without full throttle.

Getting CEL P0171 code as well. Can anyone suggest a fix?

The code indicates a lean condition.

Things to look for -

Clogged Fuel Filter (Replace Filter)
Clogged Fuel Injector (Seafoam? / Replace Injectors)
Faulty Fuel Pump (Check Fuel Pressure / Replace Pump)
Vacuum Leak (Replace Vacuum Line)
Bad O2 Sensor (Replace O2 Sensor)
Intake Leak (Replace Intake if cracked, otherwise replace gaskets)
Head Leak (Replace Head if cracked, otherwise replace gaskets)

P0171is a lean code you most likely have a vacuum leak. Get a scanner that you can monitor live data and pull up short term fuel trim for bank one and two. Then with engine at idle spray brake kleen all around the intake manifold and vacuum lines. When the short term fuel trims jump you found your leak. Most common is pcv hose and manifold gaskets
