Rubber Plug For Transmission Inspection Window
Hello
As the title says, mine's been missing for a while and road dirt got in there and destroyed the clutch slave cylinder.
I have since then replaced the slave cylinder with a FORD product that has the dust boot on it.
Before I go out and make a plate from aluminum and screw it in place, has anyone found a substitute plug that works here, I read that FORD no longer makes this part and there doesn't seem to be anything available ?
Transmission is a manual 5 speed, rear wheel drive.

People with fullsize Ford Trucks and Broncos have been picking the Ranger ones up to put in their M5R2's.

There's a few on Ebay. People are starting to pull them at Junkyards and resell them.
