hi, I'm deaf driver and my hearing passager just info me that she heard something click click out of engine, I asked her to where? she listen to motor and point out to corner of back and driver side of 3.0 V6, why does it click?

 

Does your car start? Or is the battery dead?

 

oh i means it was sound clicking when engine is running. Battery or starter is fine.

 

Thought I would ressurect this post, as I cannot find an answer to it. My '99 3.0L does it in the exact same spot. It seems to only exist when it idles, but goes away as soon as the revs climb. It then returns at the next stop

 

blazing hornet, if it only does it at idle i would check the oil pressure at idle and off of idle

 

It's not the cam sensor??
