Strange Vacuum Fitting 1/4" to 3/8"

I have a 1995 Ford ranger XLT 3.0. One of the vacuum hoses has a 1/4" opening on one side and a 3/8" opening on the other. I can't find a replacement anywhere. Runs from solonoid to charcoal canister. Any one familiar with this? I can't locate a part number to do a proper search.

Just get a piece of 3/8" and a piece of 1/4" rubber line and a line reducer to connect them from the auto parts store'. Been there, done that.

Thanks

That was my back up plan. Still surprised no one on eBay sells the original. Thanks for your suggestion.

I doubt even dealers have that part anymore. Just not something with a huge market, most people just do what grumpa suggests. Might get lucky and find one in good condition at the junkyard but I wouldn't even waste the time.

Brass cheaper than plastic

I was looking at inline adapters to reduce the 3/8th to 1/4. Dorman has one for about $10-15. Then a buddy suggested Home Depot. A brass one is about $4. Go figure.
