Tuner for Ranger

Good afternoon! I'm new to the ranger world! Just bought my 2006 3.0 Ford ranger! I bought it as a work truck for my business of hvac! And I'm getting 16 MPG but once I load it down with tools I'm afraid it'll be even lower!
I was curious if there's a tuner that's there to help out with mpg that someone has had personal experience with?
What Turner and how much MPG difference?

Welcome to the forum

Change the O2 sensors first
O2 sensors are the ONLY sensors that wear out, 100k miles or 12 years, and then MPG starts to go down

New spark plugs and wires, if they look older
Only use regular copper or double platinum, never single platinum

And no, a turner wouldn't help with MPG, or power with a 3.0l engine

You should be between 18-20mpg around town

By wires, I'm assuming you mean the ignition coils for the spark plugs?
But that definitely makes sense and I'ma definitely do so! Thank you! Greatly appreciated!

I haven't tried the milage save yet but I'm using the 87 octane tune on my accel tuner you can get off Amazon an I gotta say you can Definitely tell it has better acceleration doesn't struggle going up hills as much anymore I also have a k&n intake an cutback gibson exhaust on my 3.0L ranger
