has anyone ever turbocharged a ranger before?

 

yea, its pretty easy to do on a 2.3L, are you planning on turboing a ranger, all turbo kits are basically the same, but i dont know of any place that has an actual "bolt-on" kit

Cool...I presume a turbo is significantly cheaper than a supercharger.

 

turbo would be cool,but i would rather supercharge it, sounds cooler

 

sts is coming out with a universal remote turbo kit for 2699.00 (last i heard).

 

Where did u get the turbo??? Is it a custom setup and what mods did u have to do. thanks

yea i want to, but i got to find everything i need is there a specific turbo anyone recomends,im a high school senior and i dont have enuff cash for a supercharger ,this is significantly cheaper.i know its not a supercharger and i know i wont get the same results but what the hell.prolly gonna be alot of pipe bending and fabricating huh

 

as compared to what it was orignally, 3199.00, and turbos have much more tunability than a supercharger does but lets not get in another argument like the last turbo thread

 

this always comes up every other month or so...

 

I know of a guy who has a twin turbo set up on a 5.0 engine in a ranger but you have to do the whole thing custom.
