Hey guys, I was just wondering what the cost and performance would be for turbocharging or supercharging. I would love to do this to my truck but I'm broke so I can't. I am just curious as to what the start to finish cost would be as well as they're performance. Thanks for your thoughts.

 

A lot of money and time. Do some searching and you'll like find list of needed parts, totaling a couple grand. Also depends on your personal fab and mechanical knowledge/ abilities

And you won't find a supercharger unless it's used. Last I heard they were discontinued a few years ago.
Save your money for a V8 swap.

 

So its not really even worth it? I figured it wouldn't be cheap but I've seen that some guys have put a turbo in their trucks but I havnt asked about em. I couldn't afford it anyway I was just curious.
