a weird squealing noise???

so i was driving my ranger today and my dad asked if my truck always made this squealing noise. i guess it always made it but i never heard it because i always have my music louder than it. i know what the noise is when the power steering goes out and it sounds sort of like that but definatly not as much. so we check the power steering fluid and its still got all the fluid in it. my friend said his ranger does the same thing and a lot of them do it....so can anybody help me with my problem? anybody have the same thing? thanks!!

EDIT: the noise is only made when i turn the wheel!!!!

Squealing is usually a belt slipping or a bearing going bad. Power steering pumps make a whining noise when they go bad.

Do you know what exactly may be causing the noise?

i jus checked the P/S fluid and its more like a brownish red color. definatly not black tho. i think i mite take it by my macanic this week to see what he says. i also need my e-brake fixed because when im on a small incline (like a inclined driveway) and i put the clutch in to start it the truck rolls backward! haha! nd i dont think it should do that!
