Those numbers change with every different combination of parts that you choose, so those gains are only under the most optimum of conditions. My oldest brother works for saleen in Irvine, and just because it says it gives you power doesn't mean anything. My mustang is actually faster on a 200 horsepower shot of nitrous than on a 300 shot! It's all about certain combo's!!!!! ask anyone who knows jack **** about performance and they'll tell you the same thing!!!!!!

well said. If we add my x-pipe, borla exhaust, afr heads, pulleys, maf, nitrous, etc. to the stock output of my S351 which was 485hp, WHOA THAT PUTS ME AT WELL OVER 900 HP!!!!! LMFAO! LMFAO! LMFAO!

saleen has a 2005 3.0 edge concept that is supercharged with aluminum heads, cam, headers and cat-back exhaust and it is only at 273 hp!

I have a fast vehicle already but I cant haul sh*t in it and I'm not about to take my stang pre-running. Perhaps you should try a CIVIC cuz you sound like all the typical rice boys that think STICKERS add horsepower!

I like this guy. People have different preferences and tastes. Anybody can have a fast f-body or fox-body. If you get beat by one of these cars you're thinking, "well I guess they have more mods, time to spend more money." If you get beat by a Ford Windstar, you are only thinking "holy $hit". Too each his own but I think superfast sleeper is much better than a car that is supposed to be fast.

If the world were filled with people like Werty, the govt. would be the one producing all the cars. There might be 3 models and they'd all be the same color with the same options, how bland is that. Gran Turismo wouldn't have Honda Odysseys, VW beetles, and 4dr 4x4 Hemi Quadcabs. These are the things that keep life interesting. Not a bunch of people that take the easy way out.

Yea, well... I know a guy who has a friend who knows this other guys cousin who's girlfriends brother't best friends father has a 74 Super beatle with a Porsche 911 Turbo motor in it. Well not really but everyone out there can find somethign faster than somethign else.

Though.. the point of the camaro is... I bought it to make power... why? Its got over 110k miles on it. Nothing has been removed and everything works. Infact the stereo has been upgraded which added more weight. Though I am sure there are rangers out there faster than my camaro, I know of a Dodge Caravan out there with a 4cyl that runs high 11's and looks like crap.. but its fast!

My car has plenty of power, probably more that is actually safe to use on the street on the bottle. Looks like a jewl, still has power everything (and all works), T-tops, has funtional A/C, a 6pspeed, gett 31mpg on the highway, and can run low 12's if I ever get the tuning right... maybe even faster. This all withouth ever taking the intake manifold or valve covers off, not runing any special gas... basically I drive it home the same way I brought it to the tack save for Tire pressure (and still emissions legal off the bottle)

Now show me a Ranger that can claim that. I know the guy with the caravn sure isn't.

I understand the challenge of building somethign to be fast that isn't suposed to be. Though, its not a good investement and since I like going around corners just as much as drag racing, I prefer to start out with a better balanced package overall. THe F-body was alwas a better handling car than a Mustang.. year for year. I am going to say one last thing before I get off the soap box.

Hey, its not my money... spend it on what you want. I just get tired of hearing the excuse"Ofcourse you won... you have a V8", well its not Horsepower to weight ratio... its bang for the buck that matters at the end of the day and building a Mustang or Camaro will probabl always be cheaper than any other car because of the market... more parts sold=cheaper prices overall.

Lovely Day isn't it.

---> 2x4 = Piece of lumber 2 inches thick x 4 inches wide When relating to the size of timber /lumber, the thickness is stated before the width if using imperial measurements (feet and inches) but the opposite applies if using the metric system. For example; 2x4 (imperial inches) = 100x50 (metric millimetres)

---> 4x2 = four wheels, two driven.
