It's called many things, SOB is most common, lol, but its also known as Hot Water Intake Elbow

did u ever find out what it is called? I'm having the same problem with the same thing but mine has 2 lil holes in it the that the hose does not cover up and it is spraying water any suggestions or do you know what the part is called
