My 1999 Ranger 3.0L (production date: 4/99) was purchased from the original owner with stock ratio aluminum roller rockers... About 1/3 of them have flatten out tips to valve surfaces and they are noisey when floating the rpms/no load 3,000+ If you drive it normally you never hear them.

So I want to replace the worn out ones or just install some stock rockers also going to replace all the roller lifters too.

Problem is which rockers to run... It's a 4/99 production date so I've heard that 07/99 are different and are compactable with newer Rangers?

Will ones from a Taurus or Aerostar work?
