Icon5 Bluetooth connectivity issues

I have a 2019 Ranger; I am trying to use Android Auto using Bluetooth right now it works only when plugged in. So idiot that I am; I deleted the truck, and now I cannot get or make calls through the stereo. I have tried the usual methods of adding my phone, but the truck will not appear on my phone; when it does (for a brief moment) I click on it and then it tells me it cannot pair. I would leave the phone plugged in it charges SLOW, and I can't get sound through the speakers. I don't want to be that guy holding his phone and driving.
Side note the dealership had my truck for a few days because it would not connect when I first purchased it last year. I really hope this can get fixed without taking it to them again.
Any help would be great.

Welcome to the forum

Anytime you have a problem with ANYTHING electronic you unplug it and then plug it back in to power, this causes it to reboot factory software
On some devices with batteries, like a phone or in this case Ford Sync, you have to "restart" them or Reset them
On computers you have to restart them

So Google: how to reset 2019 Ford sync

Follow the instructions
What many people don't realize is that because there is a problem NOW, i.e. can't reconnect bluetooth, there maybe a problem in the Ford Sync unit, that a reset will not fix
So heads up, resetting didn't cause the problem, the problem was there before the reset
So if the unit won't reset or won't even come back on after the reset, the reset for sure didn't hurt anything, issue was already there, like when it was new...........

Also restart your phone, before trying to reconnect
