I have had the truck over a year, and finally saw a second one, so they built at least two! I was beginning to wonder if mine was a test model that they auctioned off to my dealer.......

Saw the truck in Hannibal MO, when driving through, a week or so ago. That one was a "Lariat" and had a different paint job, but was definitely a 2019 or 2020.

NO idea why I have never seen one before, my assumption was that they were selling poorly. I understand that is not necessarily so.

 

I do know that dealerships will get with local body shops to do some custom modifications to Rangers to try to obtain a higher sell point for them. As far as packages for the trucks, they only have 3 base. XL, XLT and Lariat. Offroad packages can vary as well as interior options. But anything super crazy or outside norm was prob a collab truck with a shop, and/or a special model (promo) for Ford. Bottom line, overpriced, just do the modifications yourself and save 10-20k. I am.

 

It must be where you live because I'm in Michigan just outside of Detroit and they are all over the roads here.

 

Well, now that you bring it up again, I did see another one a day or two back. That's three that I can confirm were built and presumably sold.

 

The Ranger is now the 2nd best selling truck in the class behind the Toyota Tacoma. Pretty cool if you ask me. I just ordered a Tremor after selling my 2019.
