The Ranger's coming back

Well I'll Be Damned; The Ford Ranger Is Returning In 2019

Well, SUPPOSED to at least.
And that's cool and all, I'd surely like to drive one. But what's bugging me, is that it'll be a Midsize, not a compact. Now, I don't have a problem with midsizers, but the Ranger was always a little work pony. Making a midsize pickup and calling it the Ranger doesn't feel right to me. I saw a Colorado recently, and IMO, it was freaking HUGE! And I thought to myself, "That's what the Ranger will look like". I couldn't help but feel slightly depressed. What was once a tiny work horse, will now be a Midsize that might as well be called the F-100.

There will never be a truck like the 83 - 11 Rangers ever again (in America at least).

I kind of figured I wasn't the first one who posted it on here. I just wanted to state my opinions on it.

I would agree, "Ranger" in name only, will be coming back.

Ford makes the best trucks so always a good buy, but a smaller size would be more appealing to me than the T6 they now make and sell overseas with the Ranger name.

Exactly. I'm not saying it's a bad truck. It's still nice looking, it's just it would be better if it was a Compact and not a midsize like more and more people are demanding for some reason.

People are demanding mid sizes because people like to be comfortable when driving their vehicle. The 83-2011 Rangers were notorious for being cramped. If you're anything more than 6', forget about being comfortable.

Idk, maybe it's just me, but it looks to euro to me. However, considering the path Ford has been going it'll fit right in. Not terrible but, not exactly a huge fan of euro, myself. Then again, I'm more of a pre-2006 vehicle guy.

Google: Ranger T6

That is the International Ranger that Mazda and Ford have been building overseas and selling overseas.

That is what it will look like.

Slightly larger than 2012 Ranger and slightly smaller than F-150
