0w-30 "German" Castrol in a SOHC?

I have been hearing a lot about this oil over at BITOG, and was wondering if any of you have ever used it, or have any info about it. The members of that forum talk about it as if it were liquid gold, and claim it is suitable for any engine requiring a 30 weight oil. It is really becoming a hot topic since the rumors that Mobil 1 is now a group III are gaining steam. This particular Castrol formula is made in Germany and is a true PAO synthetic.

That's always a safe bet, but the important part is the "30". The first number indicates it's ability to flow when cold, at operating temp it is still a 30 weight oil.

I have been using Mobil 1 Synthetic 5w30 since I bought my Ranger and had no problems. I did see where Amsoil makes an 0w30 Synthetic similar to what you mentioned...I wonder if they are alike?
