Sorry to hear about the bad luck with the Ranger!
Glad to hear you are OK from that accident, looks terrible.

I say not hurt although she rode the ambulance in but was not admitted. I had a couple knuckles on my right hand black and blue because I believe my hand came off the steering wheel and made contact with the dash. I sure do miss that vehicle!
Picked up the ranger last night. Getting ready to take a 70-mile drive to work this morning. The cost to install the engine was twice what I thought it would be (new harmonic balancer, plugs, oil pressure switch, O-ring set, fluids, etc.). I trust this mechanic a bunch so I didn't really make a fuss about it. He is going to cut me a deal on oil/filter changes since I will need them once a month to keep the warranty good.
Engine sounds smooth and quiet and it's good to have it back.
It's FRIDAY!

OSU DASNER project in Stillwater, Oklahoma

Installing new storm sewer.

Too much dirt to excavate for safety so we decided to use a trench box. Much better!

160 miles later and first thing I noticed was the increased throttle response when taking off from a stop. It seems to have more torque. I would prefer to cruise at 65 mph (speed limit) but if you are not doing at least 70 mph on the highway you turn into a traffic obstacle on this two-way country highway and will be passed by nearly everyone including semi-trucks. This can be a bit scary especially in the mornings when it is quite dark. MPG therefore is less then optimum. After sitting in my driveway for a while I did a visual inspection and did not notice any fluid leaks. So far everything is functioning as it should.

2023 Tremor build has begun.
