1991 4.0 OHV How many catalytic converters?

1991 4.0 OHV How many catalytic converters?
I recently bought a 1991 4.0 OHV Ranger. A repair shop said I have 3 cats on this truck. When I looked, I could only find 2, right in line with each other just behind where the 2 down pipes meet into a single pipe. Does anyone know how many cats this truck has? And if there are 3, where's the 3rd one??

1995 and up can have 3, one on each down pipe, so 2, and then one on the main exhaust pipe, so 3 total
Some Calif vehicles did have more Cats earlier
