4.0 rough idle and poor MPG
I got a problem and I could really use help, my 08 runs down the road just fine, but at an idle feels like its trying to shake itself apart. when I filled the tank and calculated the MPG, it was down to 14, not happy about that, but I wont give up on her. Any help and\or advice is greatly appreciated.

Clean MAF sensor, once a year, easy to do
When were spark plugs last changed?
4.0l EATS spark plugs, Motorcraft or Autolite seem to last the longest, big gap on the 4.0l spark plugs, and it needs it
Run a can of Seafoam or similar injector cleaner in the gas tank once a year, I do this on all my fuel injected engines, really helps for smother idling and best MPG.
Fuel injectors get dirty tips, this causes fuel to drip out at lower RPMs instead of a nice spray, so you get a poor mix in cylinders, also causes carbon build up, not a good thing.
At higher RPM faster air flow makes for a better mix.
