I picked up a 1997 4.0 Ford ranger 4 x 4, and it started shifting hard from 1st to 2nd gear I read that replacing the torque converter clutch solenoid would help with that it didn't really help with that, so i put a shift right kit in it with all new solenoids which helped a little bit but not as much as I wanted, I read that adjusting the bands could help, but I can't find anything about adjusting the bands online, if anyone could help me out and point me to where they are located on the transmission and how to adjust them and to what specs that would be greatly greatly appreciated.
