96 4L Steering wheel issue

Hey guys, new here.
I need to remove and replace my steering wheel. Has airbag and cruise.

Any suggestions or tips? Will I need a puller?

Make sure wheels are pointed straight ahead, saves time later, lol.

Disable airbag first, disconnect battery, wait 5 minutes, airbags store a charge, then disconnect airbag wire under steering column, look here:

yes, it will be good to have a puller handy, it is usually required.

You may also want to replace the clock spring wire harness, it is under the steering wheel, this is what allows the wheel to turn and the airbag and buttons on the wheel to stay connected.
These do wear out from the continued flexing, but really up to you and your budget.

Thanks Ron. I know about the clock spring but haven't seen the clock spring vid yet. Thanks.
