I need to replace my front left wheel bearing and am wondering about which type of bearing to use. I have a 2 rear wheel abs system, which is now discontinued by motorcraft, but the 4 wheel abs wheel bearing and hub assembly is cheaper and more accessible, still in production by motorcraft. Is there a difference between the 2w and 4w wheel bearings and hub assemblies mechanically other than the wheel speed sensor. Can I just cut the wire off of the Wheel speed sensor and install it?
