Accelerator Cable Source? '96 4.0 manual

Accelerator Cable Source? '96 4.0 manual
High mileage '96 needs new or serviceable accelerator cable F57Z9A758JA (obsolete). Tried all the usual places NOS Ford dealers, on line and salvage yards. Some say they have one, but when you try to order, they say no. Any suggestions?

Yes, F5 part means 1995, so 20+ years old now, and they(this specific cable) were only use thru 2000 model year
7Z means ranger
9A758 means throttle cable
YA means 4.0l engine
If you can take the old cable out try a motorcycle shop, they will have universal cables that you can cut to length
