Flowmaster. Delta series. hope you like drones too, cause your truck is geared to go for crusing.

The gibson would sound decent.

Flowmaster super 44, or 40 series. There is a good list of them.

My truck has a nice idle and gets pretty loud @ WOT.

It will never sound like a v8, so don't kid yourself.

Get a Flowmaster and a small resonator, and it should sound fairly deep and mellow. But it's still only a V6, so don't expect it to sound terribly impressive. The resonator will just take off any harshness from it.

Get a chambered muffler for a v6. Stay as FAR away as possible from a straight through muffler. They sound like crap unless their on a v8

Not to hijack the post but I'm in the same boat kinda, not too satisfied with the flow40 and was checkin out the Cherrybomb extremes but wondered if SI/DO or SI/SO would sound better -better meaning as baby v8 like as possible I guess, least until I can do a v8 swap lol

I have an offroad Magnaflow (the one that cuts right under the cab) sounds really good for a 4 banger, think with a 4.0L will just meet your expectations... but at the end the best low tone sound you will ever get is from straight piping it but changing the whole exhaust diameter to 4" or similar, you can start with the diameter change just after the Cat...

hope can help.

Depends on how loud you want and how raspy you want it to sound. My flowmaster 40 series has a nice deep tone but its not really noticeable at highway speeds which is very nice

i cut my cats off bcuz im in iowa so there is no inspections then i ran 3inch pipe out the rear it sounds really deep but i drove 200 miles every weekend and it does get annyoing but you get that nice race car sound when you stop on it (well at least with the 4.0l) i think straight pipe is the way to go. But i do agree the larger the diamete the better the noise

i got gibson duals and they sound decent you get a little rumble. and really its v6 in all honesty. and your not going to get a terrible amount of noise if your cats and in great shape. ive had my gibson set up for 8 months now i really like them it was cheap so easy to install and looks great. autoanything.com check it out....gl bud.
