hey guys...just wanted to know before i did the air silencer mod in the how-to section...........does it wistle pretty good?(like a cold air intake/throttle body spacer) i just got my factory piping and airbox with a k&n airfilter now...see any gains? or better fuel economy?

It sounds much better. Then mod your box by making the hole bigger and it then sounds better yet. As for more HP, eh. It may have better throttle response.

i cut the whole front of my airbox out, sounded good... performance wise... hmm i duno bout that

 

Not much sound diff and no more hp in the seat. I dont know about fuel mileage yet.

yeah same here i just took out the snorkle part, its loud at start up/idle and when you get on the gas a little, its faintly noticeable though plus i have exhuast so it kinda drowns out the intake when i romp on my b**** - Jay

 

I didn't notice a darn thing.

 

i took mine out and didnt notice any difference so i put it back in... less likely to get water in the intake with it in there
