coolant replacement cost

Since my truck is nearly 5 years old (only 34,000 miles though) I'm planning on getting the coolant/anti-freeze replaced soon. I would do it myself as it's a pretty easy job, but it's such a hassle to dispose of the old coolant properly. What have you all payed to have this done? Mine takes the yellow colored coolant.

Check with your local autozone. They may take it.

Checked with all the local auto parts stores and they won't take it. Any other options besides taking the risk of setting it on the Walmart front door...lol! I refuse to dump it in the yard or down the sewer drain.

My local township takes that type of hazardous fluids for a fee. You might want to check with yours and see if they have some sort of dept that will help out.

If your interested I just hade my car (4cyl) done at a quick lube place. I don't use them for oil changes but I did for this.

Costed me $70 and 15 minutes off my day. I pulled the nose into a bay and watched the guy change the coolant. Didn't have to deal with getting a couple gallons of coolant, didn't get my hands dirty and didn't have to worry about disposal.
