which will sound better and be louder

well if you want loud with a lot of drone go with the Original 40 series, not delta flow.

edit: or you can just straight pipe it lol.

 

I think the Delta flow sounds better because I dont like it so loud, but, to each his own.....or something like that.

Maybe you should try the new super 44 flowmaster has out.. they say its way better than the original 40 as far as power and loudness

ok the super 44 is suppose to be the loudest, which basically means theres less restrictions than the previous original 40 series which has NO power at all, maybe even power decreased. how can the super 44 create more power? the less back pressure the less power. it's not meant for v6 trucks its meant for v8's.

 

The less restriction the more horsepower. Back pressure is required for low end torque. I did notice a torque and fuel mileage increase with my delta 40 with sinlge in/out 2.25" pipe. This weekend I am going to have my 2.5" in/out flowmaster put on and see how that sounds and performs...

 

2.5'' is too big for a ranger.. stay with the 2.25''.
