big puddle of something not good?

When i start my truck, it basically splats/spits a big glob of oil onto the ground under the truck. It right in the middle under the truck. I thought it was the coolant, but after filling it back up the level has stated the same.

Is it oil or something else, i have no idea and when i rubbed it in my finger i was slippery, but looked clear. It was dark out. I can't see where its coming from?

What would spit like that when you start the truck.

Thanks for you help

You're going to have to do better than that...I mean get under there and look. There are only so many types of fluid that could be coming from the truck...

Brake fluid is clear and slippery...p/s fluid could be clear/slippery.

If it's green it's coolant. No one is going to be able to tell you where it's leaking from, you just have to get under there and look.

Yep, get under there and find the source of the leak.....and better yet, find out what it is.
