I'm replacing the thermostat housing and coolant temp sensors in my 2001 XLT, and all of that is fine, but I cannot find the pigtails for the sensors!
Has anyone here ever replaced these before? I'm in a rush to finish this job, and I'm at a stop because of this. I would appreciate any help
Embarassingly enough I was able to find them after getting a parts guy to look into it with me. You wouldn’t be able to find intake manifold bolts too would you?
What happened to your bolts ?
I don't see why you couldn't go to a machine shop and just match them up.
They may not be a Torx style head, but you should be able to find an allen key type.
They're not TTY bolts.
It’s not so much the bolts, but it’s the seals that come with them. They’re hard and some are cracked now, so I need to replace them. Oh also I rounded out somebody of the torx heads taking them out too!
lol yeah those are the ones. It took me a few hours and I had to call like 7 different parts places but a napa near me can order them and get them on Monday. So I'll have a day to put my intake manifold back on. The pressure is on
