Cylinder 3 Misfire - Replaced Plugs no power uphill

2001 4.0L SOHC EDGE 4x4

Last week uphill hit about 50mph gunned it lost power would just crawl. CEL came on took it down to Adv Auto pulled codes. Cylinder 3 misfire. Spark plug in Cylinder 3 was seized well, had to use a lot of pen oil and heat.

Replaced plugs with motorcraft oem plugs .40 gap. New Wires. Now I get around 20Mph uphill no power. Downhill can fly no issues. Pulled all plugs checked them, rechecked gap, look good. At a loss here, any thoughts from you experts?

Thank you.

For a 2001 V6~4.0L~SOHC, hope the plugs you're using are
FordSpec MotorCraft#agsf22fm or OriginalMaker AutoLite#app103 ?
Plug gap should be 0.054" or 1.4mm, not 0.040" !
Ford Spec CoilPack & Wires?
Click here for more info on 2001 V6~4.0L~SOHC Ignition Plugs\Wires\CoilPack.

Lack of power accelerating\uphill could also be an early indicator of a FuelPump\Filter issue ?

Dillard thank you for the info! I don't know what I am doing :)

I went to ford and requested the OEM plugs which they provided me the motorcraft AGSF34FP plugs, the same plugs I pulled from the motor. I checked the gap on each plug when I pulled them from the motor .043-.048. I will gap the new plugs to .054.

Thank you, if this works ill need to send you beer. I owe you many from previous posts.

Darn that didn't work. I can get to about 20Mph and i lose all power. Its a struggle. Might just tug this dumper down to the mechanics unless anyone has any other suggestions. Thanks Dillard for the input.

For anyone on this forum to help, you need to be more clear about what parts youve used & what specificly youve done, otherwise we are very much in the dark on this end.
