Flowmaster 50 series SUV Performance

Has anyone ever put a Flowmaster 50 series SUV Performance muffler on their 4.0 ranger? What does it sound like?

Was also wondering if I could get any sound clips of a 4.0 ranger with the Flowmaster 40 series muffler?

i also like the sound of my Dynomax muffler.....it isn't all that loud and it still has a little rumble to it...

my friend has a dual 50's on hit dakota and it soundls like i'm in Da Hood when he drives by (almost like a fart can) i dont like it. thats cause he tole me that you cant put a 40's on a 4.0 because it dosent have and pressure to make the sound threw the muffler.

so i dint listen to him and i put a single 40 on and now he is jelous HAHA and i proved him wrong!!

Listen to my exhaust its in my sig below.

Just remember that he is OHV...... ^^^^^^

I don't have any means to get you a clip or I would because I have a 40 series Delta flow stainless with a 3 in stainless tip on mine. I can tell you that if you like the Flowmaster sound in general, you will like the way it sounds.

I've already got a Flowmaster American Thunder system on my LT-1 Camaro Z28 and I love it. So you could say I am 'hooked' on Flowmaster.
But I'm either going to get a 40 or a 50 series due to that being what the Flowmaster Rep said at the PRI show. That is unless someone can change my mind...

I know HarryTasker has a 50-series in his 4.0L.....sounds good. Not loud, but you know it's a flowmaster. I got a Super 40 Flowmaster on mine.....nice and loud. Annoying when dealing with hang-over.

Well, I sliced the stock muffler off and slapped on a leftover tailpipe and tip from my camaro. Dumped it before the rear wheels. It's pretty loud, almost too loud. I thought it was going to be worse but the fifty different cat converters quieted it down abit. From the outside it sounds pretty nice, but in the cab you can't hear yourself think. So I'm going to drive it around for a week and see what I think, but I'll probably end up putting a muffler on it; probably a Dynomax Bullet or the Flowmaster 40.

And no I didn't experience a loss in low-end torque, if anything an increase.

I'll get pics when I get home
