Heater

2000 4.0 xlt 4x4
heater blowing cold air the floorboards are dry

Low on coolant.
Heater core blocked.
Heater hose(s) blocked.

Also make sure that your blend door is not blocked and functions properly. I would inspect the other items first.

Blend door is the most common issue on 1995 and up Fords in general
Key on engine OFF change the TEMP **** from hot to cold and back a few times, should HEAR the blend door and electric motor working, it's above glove box nearer the radio
