possibly, the largest gain youll get will be torque probably. theres not a better tuner out there for rangers than Doug, you certainly wont go wrong

well arent those around $400? this one is only $210 and if its gonna add 8-10hp and 10-12lb/ft it seems well worth it to me

well you wont be able to use the $400 flasher on your truck, you would have to use a chip anyway. you can go ahead and try the hypertech if you want

no you dont, there are many tunes available that can use any octane fuel you want, but you would have to use like a switch chip. ive never been dissappointed with a custom tune before, and you get what you pay for

a multi program switch chip is 289, it comes with three tunes, and you can choose any combination of octane, and purpose. i would reccommend

87 performance
92 performance
92 torque
