How many intake manifold seals are there? I thought 6 but i keep hearing about uppers and lowers....

its a 2004 ranger v6 4L

 

3.0l or 4.0l? On the 4.0l there are 6 o-ring style seals on the intake manifold to cilynder head mating surface. There are also seals on the throttle body, egr and pcv. I think thats it for the intake manifold. Not sure on the 3.0

I just looked on rock auto, they call all the 4.0l 6 o-ring intake gasket packs "lower".
