I'd rather buy an Intake like a Volant or S&B than hack up the stock box.

I did 3 3" holes, the blended them together for one 3"X8" opening, like this (___)

i gotta volant and i noticed a difference other than just a "sweet whistling sound" or whatever bs they say. at least a 1-2 mpg increase...

I did this a while back with DigiMoto. Theres less then a 5 degree temperature difference. The air volume being moved is the same.. its just vacuumed from the engine pulling air in.

glad to know that! ill stick to my ****** rigged stock Cai with a 3inch hole in it lol
