mud in my oil pan

I went muddin a while ago and i have mud in my oil pan now. i was wondering if anyone knew a way to clean it out without dropping the oil pan. any help would be helpful. thanx

It maybe oil additives settling in the pan. They will also stick to the oil cap.

Only way I know of to get mud to the pan. is pour it in. Or theres a hole in the block.

If there was mud all in your oil wouldnt step one be: replace engine?

wow, this is interesting.. i've been through TONS of mud with the truck, never had mud in the oil...

He must use one of those new snorkel kits, instead of suckin' air through the cabin it just uses high octane mud from the ground for some boost!

Yeah, if your truck is still running I highly doubt there's mud in your oil pan.


Are you seeing junk on the dip stick or under the oil filler cap?
