New fuel pump, new battery, crank no start. After harmonic balancer change.
I'm tired of throwing parts at this. Replaced
fuel pump, then discovered serpentine belt riding on the rubber and the pulley of the harmonic namancer wasn't attached . Ran after the swap- made it to the bosses' drive way n kaput. Any ideas , directions?

Obd2 scan tool says sending unit short but pump runs? And says brake indicator open circuit? Among others. I'm inches from throwing in the towel.

Did it run well after the swap?
How long a drive was it to the boss's driveway?
What brand fuel pump did you install?

Boss drive 13 miles.
Only hiccuped or missed once on the way. It either runs or doesn't since the swap. Both the new and old pump pump gas
when key on lines unhooked

Yes turns over.b04 ranger edge 4.0l

Check the Crankshaft Positioning Sensor (guess)
