No spark and no fault code ???

Like it says, My 99 4.0 auto trans ranger has 165000 on the clock. This morning went out and it will not start, been a daily driver and had no problems. Engine spins over good, but no spark an checking for fault codes brings nothing up. Any ideas...........

Do a spark test. review results
Pull the plug on the coil and see if its getting 12v while starting review results
test for a switching signal on the back of the connector back probe it (ICM switching ON/OFF)
