Oil and battery gauge

I’ve noticed my oil gauge is spazzing out ready from 1/2 to 3/4 on my oil gauge and when that goes up my battery gauge goes down to around 3/10 near the bottom, I have it checked and says 56% on the battery, I had gave it a little gas while driving to work and noticed it went back to normal but my lights increased brightness for a sec and it started bugging again, it’s running fine tho just the gauges

Welcome to the forum

It reads like an electrical issue
Get a volt meter and test battery volts engine off
12.8volt is a new battery
12.5v is a 3 year old battery
12.3v is a 5/6 year old battery and time to shop for battery sales

12.2v or lower is a done battery change it now

Start engine
13.5v to 14.8v is expected
Turn on headlights, put heater fan on high
Retest voltage, should be exactly the same, if its lower then one of the Fields in the alternator is bad, common issue, causes lights to dim at idle, and can cause gauge flickering since they are electric
Alternator has 3 fields, at idle all the fields need to be working to maintain voltage, at higher RPMs 2 fields can maintain proper voltage
